Physiotherapist - New Graduate

About the role

This New Graduate position will work  across Rehabilitation Services within Calvary Health Care Kogarah  being Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit ( IRU) and Day Rehabilitation Unit (DRU).  Rostered weekend shift every 4-6 weeks. This position will assist in developing and maintaining links with local Aboriginal Health Units and Corporations to better meet the needs of the local Aboriginal Community

This is a targeted Aboriginal position. Preference will be given to applicants of Aboriginal descent. Exemption is claimed under Part 9A, Section 122J of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

Selection Criteria Essential: 1: Completed a Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and are eligible for Registration by AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration Board and registered by 1st February 2019.
Essential: 2: First Year Graduate Physiotherapist or a newly graduated physiotherapist who has NOT been previously employed as a Physiotherapist within NSW Health.
Essential: 3: Enthusiasm to work with patient within the area of Rehabilitation
Essential: 4: Well developed time management skills and Excellent written / verbal communication and computer skills
Essential: 5: Knowledge of quality improvement and service evaluation processes
Essential: 6: Demonstrated ability to engage and learn new skills
Essential: 7: Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
