Who we are

Calvary Community Care is a not-for-profit organisation and the Community Care arm of Calvary, Little Company of Mary Health Care. We provide a range of flexible services to support people to live independently in their own home and community.

What you’ll be doing

The Quality Coordinator will coordinate and monitor the running of our Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS/NZ 4801 and any industry guidelines, legislation and other relevant standards. This will include the preparation, review, publication and distribution of all quality documents, manuals and associated records. The role will be involved in internal audits, data analysis and producing trending reports as well as coordinating participate in the client satisfaction surveys, reviewing results and developing action plans in consultation with the relevant operational teams.

As the Coordinator you will support and lead the small team while reporting to the Manager, Quality and Clinical Projects. The role will also act as the organisation’s Privacy Officer (for clients) to review requests in line with the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principals (APP’s).  

What you bring:

To be successful, you will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong experience working with Quality Management Systems, document control, legislation, guidelines and standards
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, Aged Care Standards and National NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators
  • Experience writing policy and procedures within the Community Care or Aged Care setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including having an open, cooperative and consultative manner with colleagues and employees across a dispersed workforce
  • Systems development abilities and comprehensive research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills
  • Commitment to work within the vision and mission and values of Calvary
  • Records management experience will be highly regarded.
