About the role

We currently have positions available for suitably qualified Registered Nurses to join Calvary Bruce Private Hospitals team. 

 

Calvary Bruce Private Hospital would like to grow our current nursing workforce, we are looking for experienced Intensive Care, Critical care and/or High Dependency Unit Nurses to join our team here at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital. Nursing staff are supported through a ward based induction program, strong Learning and Development opportunities, and by encouraging continuing professional development and research activities. Successful candidates will bring their clinical and leadership experience to this position by demonstrating:

 

  • A commitment to high quality nursing care
  • Precepting and mentoring staff and students
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to clinical research, quality improvement projects or clinical procedure development

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in the High Dependency Unit and be responsible for;

  • The provision of patient centered, evidence-based nursing care
  • Will provide a continuum of care to patients with complex critical illness and be a clinical role model for other Registered Nurses and Nursing students.
  • Will provide care in a quality framework and promote positive health outcomes.
  • Will show leadership and embrace change in the coordination and delivery of care, inclusive of appropriate referral to, and in consultation with, other health professionals, service providers and community.
  • Participating in and contribute to quality improvement programs and other facility activities to meet Service/Accreditation Standards.
  • Participating in a 24hr rotational roster
