About the role

The Australian Nursing & Midwifery Council (ANMC) defines a student as one who is enrolled in an educational program leading to the eligibility to apply for registration as a nurse. AIN (Student Nurse’s) at Calvary Mater Newcastle provide support to the nursing care in an acute care environment as directed by the Registered Nurse.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants who are expecting to complete 1st Year at the end of 2018 are encouraged to apply. Interviews for the position will take place prior to exams results being released. Once exam results are published, its an expectation to provide evidence to CMN to attach to your application.

 

Second Year students will be primarily considered in order to maximise the benefit of the Assistant in Nursing Program.

 

What you bring  

Evidence of current enrolment in a Bachelor of Nursing degree or Diploma of Nursing

Demonstrates successful completion of all 1st Year Bachelor of Nursing subjects (total of 80 units), providing evidence of academic transcripts. Or completion of School Based Trainee at Calvary Mater.
