About the role

The role of the Payroll Officer is to facilitate the production of a payroll service on a fortnightly basis. This role ensures effective monitoring, maintenance and delivery of administrative duties associated with the preparation and coordination of payroll processes 

 

What you bring  

  • Proven experience processing end to end payroll of a high volume and experience using payroll-related applications. Experience with Chris21 is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards and payroll legislation.
  • Knowledge of payment and deduction calculations including superannuation. Excellent numeracy skills are a must.
  • Effective time management with the ability to self-prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use initiative and judgement in resolving problems using discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent computer literacy with a knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • A positive and professional approach with strong communication skills
