About the role

Reporting to the Quality Coordinator & Privacy Officer, the Quality Officer will contribute to the effective control of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS/NZ 4801, and any industry guidelines, legislation and other relevant standards. This may include assisting in the preparation, review, publication and distribution of all quality documents, manuals and associated records. The role will contribute to the ongoing monitoring, review and improvement in the organisation’s quality management system, service delivery and its reporting requirements - internally and externally.

 

This is a 12 month fixed term part time (0.6 FTE) opportunity based at our Mount Waverley Head Office in Melbourne.

 

What you bring  

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in quality management systems, document control, legislation, guidelines and standards, and continuous improvement activities to meet organisational accreditation requirements
  • Commitment to the continuous improvement approach in the support and development of the organisation and services
  • Experience in developing and writing policy and procedures within the health setting, preferably community care/aged care setting
  • Systems development experience
  • Comprehensive research and analytical skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills
  • Commitment to work within the vision and mission and values of Calvary
