About the role

This position involves assessment and management of clients attending the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) at Calvary, Kogarah. It is responsible for supporting the day to day monitoring and management of patient attending the unit under the supervision of the admitting Rehabilitation Physician or Geriatrician. The position is also supported by and assists in the supervision of a Junior Medical Officer (Intern or Resident). The position will also require participation on the after-hours / on call Calvary Hospital medical officer roster including weekend ward shifts.

Selection Criteria Essential: Unconditional Registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA
Essential: Excellent communication skills verbal and written, with demonstrated computer skills
Essential: Proven ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
Essential: Good organisation and time management skills
Essential: Experience in Rehabilitation Medicine
Essential: Working towards the FAFRM (RACP), or its equivalent;
Essential: Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
Essential: Current unrestricted Class C Driver's Licence
