About the role

Some of the tasks you will require to undertake will include but aren't limited to;

  • Billing of coded records as per current Health Fund contracts
  • Receipting and allocation  of monies received as required
  • Debt recovery  and reconciliation of Health Fund claims and Patient accounts
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Provide estimate of expenses for self-insured or Health Fund restricted services
  • Process patient and Health Fund refunds
  • Liaising with both patients and Health Funds
  • Ability to read, interpret and adhere to current Health Fund contracts
  • Provide support to team members as required,  including  during Audit and EOFY period


What you bring  

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing environment,  preferably hospital based
  • Strong communication and work load management skills
  • Strong computer & organisational skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Team player with positive attitude
